France: Medieval village of Yvoire
A beautiful medieval village of Yvoire lies on the French shore of Lac Leman surrounded by picturesque peaks of French Alps. The village has a boat connection from Geneva, Nyon and Lausanne and is a popular target with tourists especially in the summer. The medieval city center is small, cosy and full of flowers. From the spots, the most interesting are the castle, the Garden of 5 senses, the domaine de Rovorrée and, of course, the lake shore.
Discovering Slovakia: Úzka dolina, Západné Tatry
Okrem Pribyliny a Štrbského plesa som vybehla aj do Liptovskej časti Tatier, konkrétne do Úzkej doliny, ktorá je štartovacou stanicou pre túry do Račkovej a Jamnickej doliny.

Discovering Slovakia: Liptovska Mara
Liptovská Mara is the third largest dam in Slovakia. Located in the Liptov region, it is my favourite stop on the way from High Tatras, Jasna, or other road trips in the Liptov region (Bešeňová, Lúčky, Hrabovo, Vlkolínec, Pribylina...).
Discovering Slovakia: Strbske Pleso
Štrbské Pleso is a glacial lake in the High Tatra mountains in northern Slovakia. The area is a favorite tourist resort all year round.
Albania: Discovering the Balkan country
Until recently, Albania was a lesser known country for me. Of course, I knew the basics, I could easily pinpoint the country's location on the map, knew the capital, size, inhabitants, a little about the history, etc.. For work I researched the country's energy sector and learnt more about the country, the culture, history and the people in general. And was even more curious. So I visited the country in summer 2016.
Albania: Tirana photos
Tirana became an unofficial capital city in 1920, officially only in 1925. You can see a lot of typical communist architecture, as well as colorful houses and a lot of mosques - the old town was founded by the Turks in 1614.

Greek food
Greek food is delicious. The locals usually start a day with coffee and sometimes also a piece of pastry for breakfast. There is a lot of small cafeterias with a few chairs and a table.
Three days and 49 kilometres in Athens
I have visited Athens twice so far - in November 2008 and in February 2017. And will gladly return anytime. The city centre is a gigantic historical open-air museum with some monuments dating back more than 2500 years. The food is delicious, people are nice and friendly, the sun is shining most of the time and there is always something new to discover.
Grécke Atény a trojdňový maratón po pamiatkach
Atény som navštívila dva krát. V novembri 2008 a vo februári 2017. A rada sa tam kedykoľvek znova vrátim. Centrum mesta je ako jeden veľký historický skanzen starý viac ako 2500 rokov.
Atény: Akropola a múzeum
Acropolis, ktorá sa rozprestiera priamo v centre mesta na strmom kopci. Táto oblasť vraj bola obývaná už 4-3 tisíc rokov pred naším letopočtom.
