Czech Rep: Gardens in Kromeriz

Kroměříž is a city in the Morava region, north of Brno and Luhačovice. The historical centre of Kroměříž is nice to walk around and have a nice lunch or coffee in one of the many small cafeterias, but the main focal point of you visit should be the complex consisting of the Archbishop’s Château, the Flower Garden and the Château Garden, which was declared a National Cultural Monument in 1995 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998. According to UNESCO, the gardens and castle of Kroměříž are an exceptionally complete and well-preserved example of a European Baroque princely residence and its gardens.
